Bavarian Insurance \u2013 Winners\u2018 Trip<\/strong>\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This city has so much to offer, it was not easy for us to choose.\u00a0\u200b
DOIT\u00a0AVOIR: savour culinary delights at the locals’ favourite spots, feel the\u00a0charm of the city up close and weave in unforgettable experiences on the sea.\u200b
To start with, we took our taste buds through the alleyways of the historic city\u00a0centre. Our tour leads us through history and culture, tasting all kinds of\u00a0delicacies along the way, such as olive tasting, ice cream at the famous\u00a0Fenocchio\u00a0ice cream parlour,\u00a0Socca\u00a0de Nice …\u200b
We had our first ‘repas\u00a0de midi’ at Gina’s, whose trendy brasserie on Place\u00a0Mass\u00e9na\u00a0combines all the best of its Italian neighbours with the French\u00a0seaside. A touch of dolce vita and Mediterranean lightness.\u200b
Back at our centrally located, newly renovated 4-star hotel with courtyard, we\u00a0had some free time and the opportunity to relax for\u00a0D\u00eener.\u200b
We were able to stroll to the restaurant as it was within walking distance of\u00a0the hotel, so we also satisfied the sustainability requirement of saving on\u00a0transfers.\u200b
Le Grand Balcon in the classic Bistro Chic offered an authentic start to our\u00a0trip. In true French style, we took our time over dinner and indulged in the\u00a0refinements of local cuisine and conversation at great length.\u200b
Day 2 was characterised by experiences on, by and in the sea.\u200b
On a full-day catamaran tour to Cannes and St.\u00a0Honorat\u00a0with various\u00a0swimming stops and a stopover for lunch on an island in the\u00a0\u00celes\u00a0de\u00a0L\u00e9rins.\u00a0We also had a speedboat with us for tender and fun trips.\u200b
St.\u00a0Honorat\u00a0offers everything you need to make time stand still.\u200b
For centuries, the guardians of the small island and its vineyards have been\u00a0the monks of the Cistercian order, who gave us an exclusive wine tasting in\u00a0the monastery garden under the olive trees, which is not accessible to normal\u00a0visitors. A special wine is produced here, of which only limited bottles are\u00a0available to buy.\u200b
We spent the 2nd and last evening at an iconic place: On a rock 6 metres\u00a0above the sea at Le\u00a0Plongeoir. The restaurant was built at the end of the 19th\u00a0century on the famous rock pillar, is a landmark of Nice and an absolute\u00a0must.\u200b
What an ‘adieux’ between sky and sea with maritime gourmet joys and this\u00a0breathtaking view of the sunset.\u00a0\u200b
The French Riviera is as enchanting then as it is now. Intense impressions that\u00a0will linger in the hearts of the participants for a long time to come.\u200b
